October is finally here! So obviously, that means I’m obsessing over the latest fall collections that some of my favorite vintage reproduction companies have released. Amazing Halloween inspired outfits are popping up everywhere, and I am ecstatic.
But instead of rushing to spend my money, I decided to make the most out of what I already have first. This year, I am finally learning the importance of that! Because, as much as I’d just to buy nearly everything in Unique Vintage’s Halloween collection, that just isn’t affordable or practical for the amount of space that I have. I will always want more clothes, but sometimes that just isn’t practical.
You don’t need three closets full of clothes (though how amazing would that be?) to have a great wardrobe. You just need practical clothing you’ll actually wear! Knowing how to make your wardrobe work for you will change everything. Here are my everyday Halloween inspired outfits. I hope this inspires you to create your own!
1. Orange and Gingham
I have been in love with gingham pants since forever. So naturally, I was so happy to find the perfect pair at Marshalls a few months ago. I love how flattering they are, especially tucked in with a belt. I always feel so sassy and put together when I wear these! I found this orange turtleneck at Goodwill, and ta-da, probably my favorite Halloween inspired outfit right there. I paired this look with my favorite pair of black heels. But for a more casual look, I also love my black ballet flats.
I really love how perfectly versatile this outfit is for all seasons. I’m already envisioning a red turtleneck with it for Christmas!
2. Stripes and Pom Poms
Okay, so I can’t stop with the turtlenecks! For this outfit, I wore my favorite thrifted Target turtleneck with stripes. This shirt is so comfortable, I practically live in it sometimes. To make this outfit really feminine, I wore my favorite black Doris skirt from Pinup Girl Clothing. I love this skirt, and how well the belt shapes my waist. My orange hat is vintage, and my orange pom pom shoes are from Amazon.
I love how this whole outfit put together has the perfect, subtle spooky vibe. It’s currently one of my favorite Halloween inspired outfits!
3. Orange and Black
I love how simple this outfit is; such a great Halloween look! What’s more classic than basic orange and black this time of year? Also, I am loving the cool Laura Petrie 1960s vibe this look is giving off. My turtleneck is from Goodwill, my pants and belt are from Pinup Girl Clothing, and my shoes are from Amazon.
